Celeste Parker is used to hearing scary stories about werewolves -Legend's Run is famous for them. She's used to everything in the small town until Brandon Maddox moves to Legend's Run and Celeste finds herself immediately drawn to the handsome new student.
But when, after an unnerving visit with a psychic, she encounters a pack of wolves and gorgeous, enigmatic Brandon, she must discover whether his transformation is more than legend or just a trick of the shadows in the moonlight.

Her best friends may never forgive her if she gives up her perfect boyfriend, Nash, for Brandon, who's from the wrong side of town. But she can't deny her attraction or the strong pull he has on her. Brandon may be Celeste's hero, or he may be the most dangerous creature she could encounter in the woods of Legend's Run.

Psychic predictions, generations-old secrets, a town divided, and the possibility of falling in love with a hot and heroic werewolf are the perfect formula for what happens . . . once in a full moon.

Don't let the awesome cover fool you!

Okay, I'll admit it. One of the main reasons I wanted to read this book was because of the cover. I mean it's awesome! Look at it! And it's about werewolves and I just love werewolves! You can't go wrong with an awesome cover and a book about werewolves, right?

I wanted to love this book, but I just didn't. I will say that it was a cute book. It's quick to read and I'm sure a vast majority of YA readers will devour it and love it. But it just wasn't for me. I think I rolled my eyes pretty much through the entire book, and I don't normally do that.

I think my biggest problem was Celeste. And the Celeste's relationship with her friends and boyfriends. Celeste is a sweet girl... such a sweet girl that it's a little bit annoying! The girl needs to get a spine, stat. She supposedly has the two best friends any girl can have, yet she can't go to them with any of her problems or confide in them about anything. That sounds like some quality friendships there... if you have to worry about your friends judging you when you do what makes you happy, get some new ones.

Celeste's relationship with Brandon... er, I mean smoldering looks, and secret rendezvous... got tiresome really fast. I need a relationship with substance! Maybe I'm jaded as a reader, who reads too many books, but I need substance... I need development. I need more than lust. I don't need flat!

Overall, this just wasn't the book for me. Full Moon lacks to stand out in the sea of YA paranormals.
