Willow has spent most of her life as her mother's sidekick in a popular Las Vegas hypnotism show. So when she and her mom move back to their sleepy southern hometown to start over, she thinks she's in for a life of quiet normalcy. Except that her new life turns out to be anything but, when she kinda sorta hypnotizes Quinton, the hottest guy on the football team, to fall madly, deeply, head over heels in love with her. But what started out as an innocent way to make her best friend, Max, jealous soon gets way out of hand, and Willow begins to wonder if the mind - and more importantly, the heart - is something you can really control.
What would you do if you could control another person's mind?

Well, you can find out exactly what happens when Willow does just that! And it's hilarious, disastrous and a little bit of everything in between! I loved the story line for Crush Control, it could have been your typical "falling for your best friend" novel, but it wasn't. There is a lot more going on in this story. It's about Willow really coming to terms with herself. It's the strained relationship between Willow's mother and her grandmother and how that ultimately effects Willow. It's a story about friendship, love, and discovery!

The characters in this novel were fantastic! Willow's friend Georgia... she was the best friend I always wanted! These two get into some over the top antics! Hexes or voodoo dolls anyone? Max and Quinton... although I'm not sure how much we got to see of the "real" Quinton, but either way, it was always hilarious when he was in a scene. Just look for the scenes with Willow's dog and you'll know what I'm talking about!

This is such a fun book! It should definitely be in your summer reading piles! Quick and entertaining, the perfect read for a hot summer day!
